Weddings have increasingly become more personalized, and we love seeing everyone’s spin on an otherwise traditional event! Of course, wedding trends do come and go, but here are some of our current favorites.
Sparkler Send-Off
Long gone are the days where the bride and groom drive away with tin cans clattering on the pavement. Celebrate the end of a beautiful day by having your guests line up with sparklers as they see you out. Not only does this make for an incredibly magical photo op, but it is the perfect way to define when the party’s over (especially helpful if you’re not one to stay out until the early hours of the morning).
S’mores Bar
Perhaps one of the most popular wedding trends within the last couple of years is fun dessert options. We’ve seen the cupcake towers and donut walls, but how about a s’mores bar? This twist on a campfire classic is a must for summer weddings. Inspire your guests to get creative by offering different chocolates and toppings!
Polaroid Guest Book
Guest books are typically a given at weddings. After all, it is nice to be able to look back and remember who joined you on your special day. Take this tradition a step further and have your loved ones take a pic with a Polaroid camera and leave a note. Your guests will love leaving you a personalized touch, and you’ll love flipping through the pages even more!
Succulent Seat Cards
The cacti and succulents trend is in full force. Incorporate nature into your reception with tiny potted succulents, which can double as seat cards and wedding favors. This is also a very simple, yet extremely adorable, option for all those DIY couples out there!
Open Seating
Struggling to plan the seating chart? No worries! You can always opt for an open seating option. Not having assigned tables will create a more inclusive atmosphere and encourage friends and family to feel like they’re there for the couple, rather than just for the bride or the groom.
